Bathtubs and showers are routinely exposed to shampoos, conditioners, bath oils and other slippery substances and when combined with mineral deposits can create a slippery film. Often referred to as “Polymerization”, these films are difficult to remove and are a leading cause of bathtub slip and fall events for the hospitality industry.
