In this video we see an elderly woman entering a bank lobby when she suddenly trips over a floor mat. Following her is a younger man who also falls and almost lands on the woman. All of this is caught on surveillance video!
Floor mats are a leading cause of trip and fall events. Given that the elderly are most likely to experience a trip and fall and are also more likely to go into a bank lobby, banks need to pay more attention to keeping their entryways safe.
