Russ examines a good example of how to construct a parking lot island. Rather than planting grass or shrubs which gets trampled over, dies, and requires a lot of maintenance, Target went ahead and filled in their parking lot islands with red colored stamped concrete which eliminates the need for maintenance, provides an excellent walking surface, and is visible under low lighting conditions.Good Job Target!
