Can you see each individual step in this stairway? Difficult isn’t it? Unless they paint a contrasting color along the horizontal edge of each step nosing someone will eventually get hurt. This is an accident ready to happen!
Section 1025.2.1 of the International Building Code requires that: “A solid and continous stripe shall be applied to the horizontal leading edge of each step and shall extend for the full length of the step.” How did the code enforcement official miss this? Falls Aren’t Funny!
