How often do you see a headline claiming that eating some type of food type raises the risk of cancer, heat disease, diabetes, etc. All the time, right? But is this true.
In this episode of Safety Matters Russ discusses a recent news story claiming that by eating red meat raises the risk of diabetes. It’s important to read the actual story in full and question the source of such “research”. Its not uncommon form university research to be funded by an industry self-interest group whose goal is to promote an hidden agenda.
Of course it’s important to manage a healthy diet but to what end? Is red meat really that unsafe? Should we all become vegans? Some are using university research to promote just that!
